The Wave Regatta 2024

The Wave Regatta at Howth Yacht Club.

The event took place on the 24th, 25th and 26th May and comprises of exciting and competitive sailing, along with an amazing on-shore party each night after racing.

Based in Howth Yacht Club, it is one of the biggest sailing regattas in Ireland this year and attracted boats from the UK and shores from all across the Isle. The sailing competition was hot, with three days of intense racing including the famous round Lambay Island Regatta.

On-shore, sailors and locals enjoyed a weekend of music and entertainment including Howth’s very own Vogue Williams who rocked the decks on the Friday night. On Saturday night Riff Shop featuring Good Life kicked off the night-time activity and the night finished with an unbelievable set from weekend resident and DJ supremo, Mark Covell (ex Olympic Sailor). For those wanting to keep the party alive, it was over to The Bloody Stream for a late night drink and a bop.

The Wright Group are heavily involved with also managing this event and take care of production and entertainment on-shore from start to finish. As members of The Wave committee its important that we deliver an outstanding weekend of entertainment and event management with precision expertise!!
